This is the book where he has spoken from his experience and tried to share his knowledge. In todays world financial books are boring and some of them are using so complex words half of the people are afraid to start with, but not this book. In this Ankur has tried to explain in very simple words. Apart from this he has given some really great and simple example which helps to understand them easily.
But as this is being is written by keeping Indian population, so some of the term you will find in book are very much associated with the Indian tax and investment system like SIP, PF, PPF and other. Plus in one of the chapter he has went into very details explanation stating step by step about how can you do savings, but if you are not aware of Indian economic system it will be challenging to grasp the concept which Ankur is trying to explain. But 90% of the book is still valid for the world.
One of the most remarkable parts of the book is the section where Ankur writes a series of letters to his younger self in his 20s. His heartfelt and eloquent words resonate deeply, allowing readers to feel a strong connection to the emotions and experiences conveyed in the letters. Ankur's writing invites us to reflect on our own personal journeys, making this a truly engaging and thought-provoking read.
After reading this book, I believe it's a must-read for those in their 20s, as well as for other age groups. However, it holds particular significance for people in their 20s because they have the time to implement the valuable insights shared by the author. I highly recommend this book to all my friends and acquaintances in their 20s, as it offers guidance and wisdom for self-improvement. Even if you're not in your 20s, consider gifting this book to someone who is, as it has the potential to enlighten and inspire them on their journey through life, as emphasized in the author's other works.
Money grantee you freedom and freedom is privilege.
This book is a one stop shop of all his money videos available in YouTube he has shared in past years and plus some bonus points. But as all his videos are mix of Hindi & English (Hinglish ποΈ π¬π§) so might not be for all to understand but book is for sure π.
One of the most profound quotes I've read in this book is:
We believe life is a zero-sum race, but that's not true.
What does this means that we often think if we need to win, someone else has to lose - that if I am +1, someone else has to be -1. We believe that the world has a limited amount of opportunity, but that's not true. In reality, there are enough opportunities for all of us to live fulfilling lives. We are living in a world with an abundance of opportunities. It's only a matter of our mindset - whether we perceive life as a finite game or an INFINITE GAME βΎοΈ.
Overall, I would rate this book 3.5 π out of 5 stars. Ankur has successfully simplified complex concepts, making them accessible and easy to understand. While the content is engaging and informative, the book could have received a higher rating if it had incorporated a more global perspective, ensuring its relevance and appeal to a diverse, international audience.
